The Sea Salt Environment

Gulf of MaineThe water we use is collected miles from the coast from the mid water column, miles from land in the open Atlantic Ocean.

The Gulf of Maine is famous for its nutrient rich upwelling currents and Swan's Island is about as far out in the Gulf as you can get without a boat.

There are no rivers and nearby lands for pollutent run off. We take our water from the mid water column to reduce the chance of pollutents from the surface or the bottom.
