Things to know about Sea Salt

A few things we would like to share with you.

We are not going to try and convince you that sea salt is healthier or better for you, { although we think it is }, There are lots of people with lots of degrees arguing about that. They do agree that sun drying traps trace minerals and elements as the salt crystals form that you wont get in processed salt. This is what makes slow drying so important. It just feels right using something coming from so close to the source, all clean and natural.

What we can tell you is that it taste better, That’s a fact. It enhances everything it touches. Sprinkle it on hot seafood, meats vegetables or on sweets such as homemade ice cream, brownies and chocolates. A little goes a long way. So we say give it a try and you tell us.

We often hear or read that real sun dried sea salt must be grey or pink. This is not true, We use the cleanest water around and then we filter it multiple times. When our solar drying process is complete our sea salt is white. No processing of any kind, just good clean sea salt. Maybe not as white as Morton’s but white.
